  • 200 grams of biscuits of your choice;
  • 50 grams of butter.

These simple ingredients will help you create a solid cheesecake base. Instead, you'll need the following ingredients to make the cake:

  • 400 grams of Greek yogurt (you can buy it directly packaged at the supermarket, according to your tastes; if you feel like it, you can also prepare it at home starting from milk);
  • 10 grams of gelatin in sheets;
  • 250 ml of cold cream;
  • 50 grams of powdered sugar;
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh milk.

As for the "essential" ingredients, your shopping list ends here. However, considering that we are sure that you will want to give a touch of uniqueness to your cake with Greek yogurt, we recommend that you buy some decorations: we really like the idea of ​​seasoning cheesecake with Greek yogurt with a generous dose of seasonal fruit, to be cut and placed on top of the cake.

How to make Greek yogurt cheesecake

The first thing you should do is obviously prepare the base. So take the dry biscuits and put them in the blender: make sure that they are chopped so much that they… become very fine crumbs, similar to a powder. Then add the 50 grams of butter, which you have previously melted.

Then work the dough until the mixture is sufficiently homogeneous and put everything in the bottom of the mold that you will use in order to make the cheesecake. Place in the fridge and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Once this is done, put the gelatin sheets in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes, allowing it to soften. Heat two tablespoons of milk in a saucepan and turn off the heat: add the softened gelatin sheets and melt them in the milk with the help of a whisk. Let it cool down.

At this point, take another bowl and whip the fresh cream with a whisk. Add the powdered sugar and then pour the yogurt into a bowl, adding the milk with the dissolved gelatin sheets to it. Then add the whipped cream to the Greek yogurt and then mix slowly and delicately, until you get the right mix of all these components.

Finally, pour the mixture into the mold, and level everything with the help of a spatula. All you have to do is put it to rest in the refrigerator for a period of at least 4 - 5 hours.

At this stage of the preparation of the cheesecake with Greek yogurt, you have to give your personal final touch of style. Our suggestion is to season the cheesecake with fresh fruit cut into small pieces: try to prefer the one you like best and, of course, focus on seasonal, zero-kilometer, organic fruit.
